A very warm welcome to the new students, joining our Community in September. Looking forward to seeing you all in Induction and thereafter.

This website is a new social platform for our MBA Community (current students, alumni and staff), that will gradually come to life over the next few months, as more people join and start using it. • Hello everyone,

I was born and bred in Oxford for 19 years, so Oxford is my home town and I try to visit as much as I can.

I live near Swansea in South Wales, with my husband and white siberian Husky and I work as an Office Manager for a firm of Architects.

I am really looking forward to getting to know my fellow students, as I am sure I can learn lots from you and it will be great to meet up with you all in the future.

    Best wishes,

  • Hi everyone

I'm Beccy, I live in Oxford, and work for RELX, based in the Elsevier offices next to the Oxford airport in Kidlington.  I'm a bit of an IT Management jack-of-all-trades, having headed up IT Support, Operations and Disaster Recovery.  I'm currently responsible for Capacity, Demand and Decom planning; primarily program managing the migration of all Lexis Nexis' global customers to their flagship product (so we can decom legacy).

I work blended UK/US hours, which means I can get a solid one-two hours in the gym (strength training, I hate cardio) at 6am every morning, before breakfast and an hour of crappy TV ('me time' bliss!).  My husband and I own a couple of 1969 Lambretta scooters, which come out to play in the summer.  I have a mild (not mild) obsession with fashion & style, and am currently starting a new blog/vlog around mid-life lifestyle, with a huge slant toward coaching & mentoring, which is my other post graduate from Oxford Brookes.  Technically, I think this is what's called 'useful procrastination' (my kitchen was never as clean as when an assignment was due!).

I'm really looking forward to meeting you all at various summer schools, residentials and on-campus seminars (or just virtually).

  • Hello everyone,

  • Hi everyone,

My name is Catia, I am based in Macau and I work as an Internal Auditor for a US company. In the past, I used to work in Hospitality Industry and my very first job was in U.K.

I am passionate about travelling! Travelling has not only been something that I do, but it has been something that has become a part of me. I have this passion to travel, discover new places and cultures.

I am looking forward to having great discussions in this forum.
